Who's looking for their new best friend!?
Miles is a sweet and energetic lab mix who just wants to be part of your life. He's a bathroom buddy, a couch snuggle bug, and a loyal walk companion.
He's great with other dogs, cats, chickens, and children. He came to BCR with no manners, no boundaries, and no concept of how to be an indoor dog. He's come so far! He's got this housetraining thing down, rarely jumps on people, and has mastered sit, drop it, and leave it. Lay down is a tough one for him, because he just wants to jump back up to be next to his person!
Miles is working on his recall, but he's very easily distracted, and isn't trustworthy off leash just yet.
He would do best with a securely fenced in yard in his forever home. He's 90% good about knowing what toys are his, but sometimes chews on toys that are meant for kids, so being aware of what's on the floor is important. He's pretty headstrong in the beginnings of his walks, and is used to walking miles every evening, so someone with lots of energy and a passion for the outdoors (and continuing his positive training) is just who he's looking for!
If you want an amazingly loyal and affectionate doggo to go hiking with during the day, and snuggle up with his head on your shoulder at night...Miles will go the distance.
