Natto
Formerly known as Georgie, we decided "new day, new name" for this fluffy fellow. (Also I kept chanting the Georgie Porgie nursery rhyme, and he deserves better.)
Just like the food he's named after, Natto isn't for just anyone. He needs a calm and patient person, to give him structure and stability in his day to day life. This is not a cat who loves change. He does like being told how special he is, and being snuggled.
While he has lived with other animals and children, his ideal home would probably have him being the only cat, with maybe a mellow canine sibling. When he gets very stressed, he will urinate outside of his box, which was the reason he was surrendered to BCR.
Inappropriate urination is the number one reason cats are euthanized in the united states, and we want better for this guy!
If you have a serene home, and an understanding heart, Natto could make his home with you.
