Mercury started his life under a shed, being told by his feral mother that people were no good, and no to be trusted. It took him a little while to learn that his foster family really did love him, and didn't plan on eating him up.
Mercury is a loving, sweet, and playful kitten. He loves playing with humans and with other cats, especially his brother, Freddie. He is a little shy around new people but once he warms up he will show his outgoing side. Mercury loves getting belly rubs from trusted humans and enjoys falling asleep on top of heat vents. He's a big fan of snuggling on his person's lap, and will purr himself to sleep. He is great with older kids and likes to play with stick toys and anything that he can carry around with his mouth.
