Katie and William
Katie and William are roughly one year old, and were dumped in a barn. Katie was sweet as pie to the family that owned the barn, but William was so terrified that he was marked at feral. Due to his terrified behavior, and his FeLV positive status, he was slated for euthanasia. (As was Katie. The world is unkind to FeLV positive cats.)
Luckily, the animal lover grapevine found BCR, who just happened to have the best home ever for FeLV positive cats. These two bonded beauties got to go to their forever home together!
Update, June 22nd:
William succumbed to complications of FeLV, after the absolute best vet care possible.
While we mourn his passing, we celebrate the year of love, family, and safety he enjoyed.
