Munro has come a long way on his journey from scared, semi-feral scruffball, to happy indoor cat.
While still a bit on the shy side, he now happily stretches out on the bed and engages in playtime.
He has a big purr and loves chin and ear scratches.
He's even learned to cuddle and make biscuits! Monroe has lots of love to give, he just needs to feel safe first. This is not a kitten who enjoys being scooped up, he needs to know it's safe to come to you.
He keeps a polite distance from his foster parent's older resident cat, and can be a bit dominant with his foster sister, sometimes hogging food and toys. Being one of about 50 cats will create some resource concerns in a kitten!
Monroe would do great in a quiet, patient home that will give him time to decompress and seek out affection on his own terms.
He may benefit from a friendly feline buddy to help show him the ropes.
